What we do

Four lines of work, one engineer's standard.

Whether you own a royalty, operate a few wells, or are holding a prospect, we start from the records and the production data rather than the sales pitch.

01

Title & ownership consulting

For mineral, royalty & ORRI owners

We help owners prove what they own and get paid for it, especially when revenue is held in suspense.

  • Chain-of-title research and record retrieval
  • Probate, heirship and appraisal-district ownership records
  • Defect analysis and curative strategy, coordinated with your attorney
  • Division order, decimal and revenue-statement review
  • Operator submissions and suspense-release follow-through
02

We buy producing wells

For operators & working interest owners

We buy shallow, mature oil wells from small private operators, along with non-operated working interests. If you're ready to step back from a property, we'll make a fair, plain offer.

  • Operated wells, including low-rate stripper production
  • Non-operated working interests
  • We review production history and lease operating costs ourselves
  • Straightforward process with confidential conversations
03

Prospect placement & A&D

For prospect generators & operators

We place exploration and development prospects with operators and capital partners we know, and we support acquisitions and divestitures.

  • Prospect review and packaging: teaser, term sheet, data room
  • Introductions to qualified operators and partners
  • Independent technical review of what's being offered
  • Deal structuring that works for each party
04

Engineering & evaluation

For owners, buyers & investors

We provide reserves and economics you can rely on when deciding to buy, sell, hold or drill.

  • Decline-curve analysis and remaining reserves
  • Cash-flow economics and present-value ranges
  • Offer evaluation: is the price fair for what you own?
  • Industry-standard tools: PHDwin, Aries, ComboCurve, Spotfire
How we work

Plain answers, documented work.

STEP 1

Listen and gather

We learn what you have and what you want to accomplish, then collect the deeds, leases, statements and production records.

STEP 2

Do the work ourselves

We do the title research, engineering and analysis in-house and reach our own conclusions, independent of anyone's marketing materials.

STEP 3

Deliver in writing

You get clear memos, schedules and next steps, written to be read by owners as well as by attorneys and operators.

Consulting terms. Hourly consulting with no retainer, billed monthly on net-30 terms. Expenses are billed at cost, and larger expenses are approved in advance.
